The Battery 3D Commission offered 8 Suffolk based artists commissions of £3000 each to create new 3D or sculptural works inspired by found materials, considering environmental and sustainable themes and prioritising the use of recycled, recyclable and natural materials.    

The Battery of Ideas is an Arts Council England Place Partnership Project with the aim of creating a step change in creativity in a place and is supported by East Suffolk Council and Suffolk County Council. 

From Monday 28th July to Friday 15th August, work by 2 of our 3D Commission Artists, Eleanor Rodwell and The Norwich Dandies, will be exhibiting in The Battery.
