In March, we visited the forward-thinking, creative town of Leiston for a Spring Celebration. Thanks to all who visited, performed, traded and made for such a brilliant event.

The First meeting with the Leiston stakeholders was exciting, with a real passion for their town and many great ideas expressed. It was clear that this event was about the local community and getting people back onto the high street after Covid, and feeling proud of this unique market town.
The brief that we arrived at was to showcase Leiston and all that it has to offer, for those who live in the town and also for others who might overlook it. We knew that ‘Discover Leiston’ was going to be a challenge as the event needed to cover a long stretch of the high street and also incorporate some of the towns land marks.
The event turned into a mini festival with a makers market, a music stage, DJ, with local shops spilling out on to the high street, street food, a circus workshop, hands on crafts activities and a 24ft climbing wall!
